well it seems that the chrio made a big difference. bohdan is walking a whole lot better and putting more weight on his leg than he had in the previous week. he is still limping but it is different, it is more favoring his leg than his whole body hurting.

so we are scheduled for april 6th to do the follow up x-rays, i am sure i have mentioned this somewhere else, but i can't wait. it is still a long way off, but yet it is getting closer.

we had a really good visit with the doggie chiro. i was really worried about getting him out of the car, and it turns out that was not an issue at all. bohdan jumped out and I was holding the back end so it was more of a controlled fall.

the only bad thing he did was pee in the area outside where we usually work. we don't go into the actual office since the floor is too slippery and it makes big dog very growly when he has no traction.

so we had the adjustment, no growls no barking, no nada. he even let her rub his head. after his adjustment we sat and spoke with the chiropractor for a bit... in the lovely sunshine. then bohdan being the big black dog that he got hot.

i asked bohdan if he was ready to go and he got up, grabbed his leash in his mouth and then walked to the car. i took that as a yes, said goodbye, put him in the car and paid for the visit. we came home, windows open air going trying to cool down the car.

3 more weeks until we get x-rays and clearance for more activities.

it has been awhile so i thought it was time for another catch up. we have been walking twice a day around the block or an equal distance. just this past week bohdan's back has started to bother him. so tomorrow we are off to the chiropractor to see if she can help.

i am a little concerned that he is favoring his leg so much. but then i look at the way he acts when we are out on our walk and he is bouncing and dancing and doing pretty much all his normal things.

we will go for x-rays on the 6th of april. seems like forever. oh and we are going out of town soon, which will be a big management issue for us since he is going to want to run around the yard in the southern california sunshine.

all in all we are doing well and he is happy.
