I took bohdan down to los altos today to see the acupuncturist. he has not seen her in nearly a year.

we had been doing really well and seeing the chiro about every 8 week and then bohdan did something that messed up his back, and he is walking strangely on his hind right leg (the good one). Kind of swinging it out, as the hip hurts.

so off we went to see dr. sarah. i really like her a lot.

he was a big growly dog but that was mostly cause the pain was so great, you could see his muscles quiver as she first touched his back and then later when she put the needles in.

she wants to see him once a week for the next couple weeks so we can get this under control, additionally she would like for me to take him to the chiropractor and see if we can get that worked out as well.

the good news is that he is only 3 pounds heavier then when he had his surgery and was last weighed at this vets office in feb of '02.

he is down at least 10 pounds from when i had him at the vet in february. i am not sure where we will stop, i had been shooting for 145, and he is now at 150 and looks a little heavy, so we may go further.
