i took the puppy to the vet today and one of the things that came from our visit is that she needs to lose about 10-15 pounds. I was aware that she was a little heavy but not just how overweight, so both dogs are on a diet now.

I have been researching better ways to feed them a raw diet that will help them lose weight and keep them healthy... we shall see how it goes.
