this morning I dreeemed

that I was on the east coast somewhere, in a place somewhat like DC

I was visiting, and there was a mall...not like your regular shopping mall
but more like what would result if you covered over market street in SF with
glass. I walked down the mall and it began to rain....sheets of water
downpouring. I was very glad that I was under the glass and still dry.
There came a point where the glass ended though, when the street met another
one at some oblique angle. and the water was totally dripping, pouring down
into the street...it was amazing and beautiful, I thought. I decided I
*had* to take a picture of this for my mom, even if it meant my camera got
wet. I pulled out my camera and the rain stopped.

o bummer.

saturday night

I kept dreaming I was having a heart attack. Except, it wasn't as if
I was myself and feeling the painb and stiffness spreading about my
chest and left arm, it was more as if I was dispassionately off to the
side and detached from the actual pain, and I could see anf feel and
analyse what was causing it and exactly what the heart looked like and
the various responses the rest of my body was making to it.

I wonder how much of the dream was inspired by a recent show we caught
when channel surfing through our cable TV that showed an open heart
surgery procedure...

anyways. my brain I guess wasn't satisfied until I got it just right.
It was kinda like being on an infinite repeat loop in my dream. No,
that isn't exactly how the heart attack would turn out. Start over.
again and again and again. I was really glad when it started raining
at Faire site and the water dripping on my face woke me out of the dream

this morning

I had a nightmare of sorts.

I can't remember the plot, only the part that scared me,
if scared is the word.

There was this protest outside of a federal-looking building...
the people attending were older, perhaps in their forties? and they
had all been part of some radical movement when they were in college.
They were gathering because the govt had done something about whatever
their cause had been in college (I want to say it was abortion). Anyways,
when they were in college, a lot of them had been rather violent.

Someone got hurt, and one of the protestors (did I mention they were all
well dressed?) turned out to be a doctor. He bent over the guy to see
what was wrong, if he could help, and then
