I tried to set up the device that I found in the garage earlier today. in reality the device looks like the base parts to the bastard child of a plasma ball or jacob's ladder. anyhow heather was in her room but most of her stuff was moved out. her computer was on the computerdesk next to her door but there was a buncha junk in her room. I was in the hall and leaned over to just plug the thing in. Tim said no, stop stop and I realized I could be zapped and I should unpack it first.

I took it out and realized that there was a wound copper wire, about the gauge that would be in the mid-tones for piano string, that split off from the wire on the side. it was coiled up and was not supposed to be. I uncoiled it and after some thought set it so the wire on the side bifurcated it. so it could be like a v-shape, like a proper jacob's ladder. now it would be OK to plug in.

I went into Heather's room and started trying to figure out how to plug this in without the sparks or magnetic field affecting her computer. I was still trying to figure this out when I woke up.
