I dreamed that peanut house was in some kind of weird space warp, so
that it was much much bigger on the inside than it was on the outside.
and once you went inside, it was like a cross between a warehouse and
a pantry, with all these painted white shelves, all in a row, with goods
(house supplies like toilet paper and food) on them, and there was blue
and white cheese cloth hanging in front of the shelves, so that to get to
the stuff on the shelves, you had to push it aside.

Carolee told me, this was to prevent undesirables from sticking around,
because people who were undesirable would dislike this setup, and then
they would leave without asking.

so then I went into another room, and Alia had given both Heather and me
accounts on samsara. so I sat down on the console and tried to remember
all the stuff I used to know about running a NeXT. and I couldn't quite
remember how to taylor a directory listing so that it would make sense.
(without all the damn icons). so I decided to sit there until Adam got
back cuz I knew he would know how and he would tell me what I had forgotten.
while I waited I decided to play billiards (which is my favorite game on
a NeXT). I realized I had to turn off the sound, because it would bug
other peanut haus people if I was making that much noise on the computer
late at night. so I started to play, and then I realized the display was
all black and white. and I wondered what good really was a NeXT that
was black and white. and then I woke up.
