dreams last night

i had a bunch of dreams last night...i wouldn't be surprised
if all I did was REM...

---
i dreamt that my friend ian mailed me and asked me out for dinner,
and gave me all kinds of guilt because I haven't emailed him nor
talked to him in ages. Oops. I guess I better email him...

---
i dreamt i was working for pete wilson's reelection campaign. i can't
remember in what capacity, but i remember aphrael was the person i worked
the most closely with. things were going very badly, and it was all my
fault. apparently there was some important dinner an i had messed up
somehow and caused a great embarassment to the governor. aphrael was
totally pissed at me because it was going to be up to him to fix the
mess.

...there was a lot more going on than just this, but i don't remember
it at all. sigh. i hate it when that happens. o well. this was the
gist of it, anyways.

---
i dreamt that Tiger had a cage not dissimilar to Winston's, and for
some reason we filled it with water, put Tiger in a smaller cage-in-a-
cage, and put Cleo in the larger [outer] cage. and then filled the
whole shebang with water. i remember wondering in a vague abstract
sort of way how they were able to breathe underwater, and for that
matter, how water was being held in a rabbit cage. Cleo really wanted
to eat Tiger. as I watched, suddenly there were all these baby guppies
swimming in and out around the cedar chips in the bottom of the cage.

---
[this one is the most confusing of all] i dreamt that we were at
shoreline amphitheatre for lollapolooza. except, having never been
to shoreline, my brain had to just supply random settings for the
events of the dream. so really, it wasn't shoreline...but this weird
place on some docks on the east coast. [oh BTW we = goddess, snozer,
and me] so for some reason we were late to the show, maybe we were
setting up lighting on another stage? and we missed the band goddess
wanted to see most...and we weren't sure where the seating was. like,
the way it was set up, the seats where the stage was were used by the
techs for lighting, sound, etc, and the people sat in the tiers above...
except we didn't realize this until the next band started playing
and everyone started cheering.

the image that sticks in my mind the most is us, walking in on the lower
level, seeing the empty seats, and goddess and snozer telling me
that its my fault we missed lollapalooza.
