our repertoire: what we can provide

Drawing on 27 years of expertise built up providing parades and pageants, the Guild of Saint Cuthbert is uniquely positioned in its ability to rapidly and efficiently organize and lead a large group of Renaissance performers into a parade, complete with banners flying, drums beating, bells ringing, jesters tumbling, and revelers singing. The Guild also has accumulated a significant body of original and adapted scripts suitable for performance on the stage, or in the street, by any group of performers numbering 3 or larger.

The parading expertise carries over into Victorian (or Dickens) fairs and can even be incorprated as a colourful and merry contingent in a regular modern-day parade. For the Dickens fairs, which are generally during the holiday season, the parades follow along the Father Christmas tradition. St Cuthbert's can also provide enough players to bring to life a full Victorian Royal Family and court, with the {accurate historical backing as well}.

Lastly, the Guild has 15 years of expertise in constructing, decorating, maintaining, and tearing down its own environmental area in Renaissance and Dickens fairs. Depending on the space constraints within the fair and placed on the enviromental area the Guild can feed itself a meal in the manner of the times, or provide other entertainment from the area such as pageants, singing, or dance sets. Under all circumstances the opportunity for improvisational performance abounds.
